Zéralda is the least populous district in the Algiers province but it brings a welcome change from the big city life. Zeralda is a suburb of the city of Algiers and a commune that is based on agricultural. Tourists who visit the commune can watch the inhabitants work on the land while lounging at the beautiful coast. Explore five kilometres of beach and be entertained at the wadi mazafran, wadi mehelma and the “ravine of the voleurs" or wander in the “forest of the panteurs” which expands for 600 hectares. Forests, fresh food, fun and freedom make Zeralda an enjoyable visit. The commune of Zeralda is made up of the town of Zeralda located at 1,5 km of the sea and tourist complex as well as agricultural village of Sidi Ménif-Mazafran at 4,5 km so there is a mixture of sea, sand and local attractions. According to certain historians, Zeralda was named in 1844 by a man of worship called Mohamed Zeradli who discovered it This town on the Mediterranean Sea hosts the resort town of Sidi Ferruch which is popular among tourists, but it is also well know for its 7.2km Grand Prix circuit that is no longer operational after being used for the Grand Prix d'Alger from 1928 to 1930.
